Virat Kohli With Most Runs in IPL: 6624
Since the inception of the IPL tournament, Virat Kohli has been a pillar of strength for Royal Challengers Bangalore. No other batsman has scored more runs in the IPL than Virat Kohli, the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. Kohli has scored 6624 runs in 223 games, averaging 37.39 and using a 129.94 strike rate. There are also 40 half-centuries and five centuries, of which four were released in a single edition in 2016. Kohli has scored the most runs in IPL history for Royal Challengers Bangalore, and it should not be unexpected, given the caliber of the player.
Through his leadership, Kohli has turned Royal Challengers Bangalore into a highly successful squad. He consistently delivered runs for his team RCB and was the 2016 winner of the actual Orange Cap Award, which is awarded to the leading run scorer.

Shikhar Dhawan With Most Runs in IPL: 6244
The all rounder cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, who has played for four IPL teams—Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Capitals, Deccan Chargers, and Mumbai Indians—owns the second-most runs in the league.
His most productive period was with Sunrisers Hyderabad when he played 85 matches and amassed 2518 runs at an average of 34.49. He has also produced solid results for his current side, the Delhi Capitals, and his former Deccan Chargers team. The left-hander played for the most successful team, Mumbai Indians, in only 15 games, averaging 16.5.
Shikhar Dhawan has amassed a respectable total of6244 runs at an average of 34.84 in 207 IPL innings.
The Punjab Kings acquired Dhawan at the IPL Auction for 2022. Dhawan reached two significant milestones in a game against the Chennai Super Kings. He participated in his 200th Tata IPL match and became the second player, behind Virat Kohli, to reach the 6000 run mark.
David Warner With Most Runs in IPL: 5881
The most talented batsman, David Warner is certainly the IPL King since he is the only batsman to have scored 500 runs or more in every IPL season since 2014. The left-handed opener has played in 162 IPL innings to date, scoring 5881 runs at a mind-blowing average of 41.59, including 50 fifties and four hundred.
At Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), Warner began his IPL career, but it was in Sunrisers Hyderabad where he found his niche. He guided the team to a championship in 2016 and has remained a mainstay of the Sunrisers Hyderabad lineup ever since.
Rohit Sharma With Most Runs in IPL: 5879
Rohit Sharma’s career improved after he switched from Deccan Chargers to Mumbai Indians. He is the most successful captain of the most dominant team in IPL history. He has been an unstoppable force with the bat, guiding Mumbai Indians to a record five championships.
The MI skipper is on the list of IPL players with the highest runs, with 5879 runs at an average of 31.17 in 227 games. While Rohit Sharma had a respectable record for the Deccan Chargers (1172 runs in 45 matches), he has excelled for the Mumbai Indians and broken several records.
Suresh Raina With Most Runs in IPL: 5528
Suresh Raina long owned the IPL record for most matches played and runs scored. He did not, however, participate in any match during the 2020 IPL season, which caused him to drop somewhat in both rankings. Nevertheless, the southpaw has competed in every game for the former Gujarat Lions or Chennai Super Kings.
During his participation in 205 IPL games, Raina has amassed 5528 runs at an average of 32.51, with 39 half-centuries and one century. Raina scored 841 runs in 29 innings for Gujarat Lions and 5528 runs for Chennai Super Kings during 200 innings.
AB de Villiers With Most Runs in IPL: 5162
Throughout the first three seasons of the IPL, AB de Villiers was a teammate of the Delhi Daredevils (now known as the Delhi Capitals) until transferring to Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2011. The flamboyant player never joined another IPL squad after that.
As the IPL in the UAE ended in 2021, Ab De Villiers declared his retirement from all forms of cricket. He amassed 5162 runs throughout his long IPL career, averaging 39.71, and had a remarkable strike rate of 151.68. This score lists three centuries and 40 half-centuries next to his name.
MS Dhoni With Most Runs in IPL: 4978
Chennai Super Kings signed Dhoni for the 2008 IPL. After that, the batsman never again participated in an auction. In 2016, the Sanjiv Goenka-owned Rising Pune Supergiants selected Dhoni as their player team and a top pick in the IPL draught after the ban of CSK and the Rajasthan Royals for violating IPL rules.
As the franchise’s restriction was removed in 2018, Dhoni rejoined Chennai Super Kings. As a result, he was the team’s first-choice player in the 2018 IPL player retention.
Without Dhoni, neither the Chennai Super Kings squad nor Dhoni himself exists. N Srinivasan, the former BCCI president who also owns shares in the franchise, said this.
Cricket legend MS Dhoni has significantly influenced the growth of the Chennai Super Kings. With 234 matches under his belt, he has amassed 4978 runs at a strike rate of 135.2. As of June 2022, he retains the record for most IPL matches played.
