Any team would benefit from having a batsman who can excel in all three formats and adapt to each one. But, few batters were successful in ODI, Test, and T20 matches.

Mohammad Rizwan (Pak): 1915
Mohammad Rizwan has been named the Most Valuable Cricketer of 2021 by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for his achievements and records throughout the year. Furthermore, the talented player has been officially awarded T20I Cricketer of the Year. He scored 1,915 runs in 2021, comprising 455 Test, 134 ODI, and 1,326 T20I runs.
The Pakistan Cricket Board held an awards ceremony to recognize the best players of 2021. Rizwan, the wicketkeeper for Pakistan, played a crucial role in his team’s successful T20 World Cup 2021 campaign.
Joe Root (Eng): 1855
The England batsman, Joe Root, had a year to remember, creating records of scoring 1855 runs at an average of 58.37 in 18 international games while also hitting six hundred. He did, however, experience disappointment as captain when England was humiliated in the Ashes.
With long innings of 228 against Sri Lanka in Galle to start the year, Root has only gotten better.
The achievement is all the more remarkable given that they were combined in various situations, with his team frequently having batting issues and Root serving as England’s lone fighter.

Babar Azam (Pak): 1760
The Pak cricketer Babar Azam, the all-round captain, won the ODI Player of the Year title. In six ODIs, the flashy right-hander amassed 405 runs at a remarkable average of 67.5.
Babar has scored more than many top cricketers in the past three years. He scored 1,710 in 2021 at an average of 40.93, including three centuries and 14 fifties. His highest score was 158.
Rohit Sharma (Ind): 1420
Rohit Sharma, the captain of Team India’s white-ball team, scored the most runs for India in international cricket in 2021.
Rohit has been outstanding in every game format, scoring 1420 in 35 international innings for India in 2021.
Paul Stirling (Ire): 1151
Paul Stirling has been a devoted player for Ireland since he was a member of the Under-13 team. Stirling, a full-fledged participant in all game forms used by Ireland, has shown potential with his bat as an opener.
Stirling is a right arm off break bowler who occasionally bats first for the Ireland cricket team. He ranks among the top 10 T20 international run scorers. He participated in Ireland’s inaugural Test match against Pakistan in May 2018 as one of the eleven cricketers that took the field. In June 2020, he was chosen to serve as the Ireland team’s vice-captain.
Paul Stirling smashed 1151 in 28 innings at an average of 46.04. He scored four centuries and three fifties.
Aiden Markram (SA): 1116
Aiden Markram, the first South African captain to win a World Cup, although at an age-group level, established himself as the winner.
In addition to being the top run-scorer and third overall for the Under-19 South Africa team in 2014, he also served as their captain. Unfortunately, he had to wait another three years to join the senior team, but once he did, he made a significant impact on the team.
The cricketer from South Africa, Aiden Markram, scored 1116 in 34 innings at an average of 37.20. He scored one century and nine fifties.
Rishabh Pant (Ind): 1116
Rishabh Pant, an India budding star, scored 1116 in all three formats for his country in 2021. Pant demonstrated to the world that he is a brilliant player, particularly in red ball cricket.
Pant played crucial innings to help India win the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2020–21 at the Gabba and helped the team chase down a seemingly impossible mark.
Quinton de Kock (SA): 1092
South African cricketer Quinton de Kock has established himself domestically and internationally. He plays for The Delhi Daredevils and is a frequent component of the national team. He has previously played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL.
At 16, Quinton de Kock played for the Gauteng senior squad in 2009. He then participated in the Under-19 World Cup in 2012. His selection for the South African national team was a turning moment in his life.
In 2021, Quinton scored 1092 in 27 innings at an average of 45.50. He scored two hundred and seven fifties.
Rassie Van Der Dussen (SA): 1068
In October 2018, Rassie van der Dussen faced Zimbabwe in his debut T20I match. He is a versatile, energetic batter who can bat in the mid or at the top of the order.
Van der Dussen, a naturally aggressive batter, has also been able to apply his skills to long-format cricket and was the leading scorer in South Africa’s domestic first-class tournament from 2017 to 2018.
In 2021, Rassie van der Dussen scored 1068 most runs in 31 innings. One century and five eight 6s are included in his tally.
Liton Das (Ban): 1058
Liton Das, a talented wicketkeeper-batsman, made a name for himself by accumulating the most runs in youth cricket. He participated in and displayed his talents on a bigger platform in the 2012 and 2014 Under-19 World Cup teams.
He had fantastic success in the National Cricket League, where he batted an astounding average while hitting five hundred. He was quickly rewarded for his precise and compact batting approach when, in 2015, he was first chosen for the national squad.
In the 2018 Asia Cup final against India, Liton scored his first ODI century, and despite his team’s defeat, he was named Man of the Match for his performance.
Litton Das hit 1058 runs in 39 innings in 2021. His score includes two centuries and five fifties.

The Test format gives players the required time to set as many records as possible. A cricketer can score a huge run if he stays long in the innings and strikes at a high enough rate.
