Most Runs in 2021 In All Formats Combined

Playing brilliantly in three different forms of cricket is challenging. It requires players to be in peak physical and mental condition.

Any team would benefit from having a batsman who can excel in all three formats and adapt to each one. But, few batters were successful in ODI, Test, and T20 matches.

This article lists the top cricketers performing incredibly well in all three formats and scoring the most runs in 2021.

Furthermore, the talented player has been officially awarded T20I Cricketer of the Year. He scored 1,915 runs in 2021, comprising 455 Test, 134 ODI, and 1,326 T20I runs.

The Pakistan Cricket Board held an awards ceremony to recognize the best players of 2021. Rizwan, the wicketkeeper for Pakistan, played a crucial role in his team’s successful T20 World Cup 2021 campaign.

Joe Root (Eng): 1855

The England batsman, Joe Root, had a year to remember, creating records of scoring 1855 runs at an average of 58.37 in 18 international games while also hitting six hundred. He did, however, experience disappointment as captain when England was humiliated in the Ashes.

With long innings of 228 against Sri Lanka in Galle to start the year, Root has only gotten better.

The achievement is all the more remarkable given that they were combined in various situations, with his team frequently having batting issues and Root serving as England’s lone fighter.

Stirling is a right arm off break bowler who occasionally bats first for the Ireland cricket team. He ranks among the top 10 T20 international run scorers. He participated in Ireland’s inaugural Test match against Pakistan in May 2018 as one of the eleven cricketers that took the field. In June 2020, he was chosen to serve as the Ireland team’s vice-captain.

Pant played crucial innings to help India win the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2020–21 at the Gabba and helped the team chase down a seemingly impossible mark.

Quinton de Kock (SA): 1092

In the 2018 Asia Cup final against India, Liton scored his first ODI century, and despite his team’s defeat, he was named Man of the Match for his performance.

Litton Das hit 1058 runs in 39 innings in 2021. His score includes two centuries and five fifties.

Most Runs in Test 2021

The Test format gives players the required time to set as many records as possible. A cricketer can score a huge run if he stays long in the innings and strikes at a high enough rate.

A huge target would put stress on the batting of the opposing side. Check this table for the list of players with the most runs in the Test in the 2021 season.
