2011 IPL Orange Cap Winner: Chris Gayle (RCB) With 608 Runs
Chris Gayle earned an orange cap award in the IPL debut match with the Royal Bangalore Challengers. Throughout 12 innings, he scored 608 runs and was also voted the IPL player of the year in 2011.

2016 IPL Orange Cap Winner: Virat Kohli (RCB), the Leading Run Scorer, With 973 Runs
